Bio
Jennifer Lee, PhD, MPH, is an experienced public health leader with nearly 15 years of demonstrated history working in the public health ecosystem and a deep understanding of intersectionality and multiple levels of oppression operating among people and communities of diverse lived experience. Dr. Lee is dedicated to making an impact on the world by addressing health inequities and injustices in diverse communities by advancing health equity and social/racial/health justice.
Through the lens of a whole-of-society, syndemics, community leadership, equity advocacy, activism, human rights, community-based participatory research, and a strengths-based approach, her research and work provide unique pathways for people and communities to make changes through explicit aims at social and political change. While addressing the root causes of social, cultural, political, commercial, industry, and economic determinants that underpin health, she also builds partnerships with diverse sectors to explore innovative solutions that center the people most impacted by the most vexing public health issues.
